We believe that a complete dental examination is extremely important for all new patients and at? intervals for our current patients. The timing is determined by evaluating the individual needs of each patient. We do not believe in rigid standards. In addition, we feel that limited periodic exams with each visit adds to dental health significantly.?

Many recent studies and our own experience have found strong links between dental health and several serious medical problems. Studies this topic reveal that there is really little doubt that heart disease and gum disease are related. The list of associations is rapidly growing, now including pancreatic cancer. The believe a comprehensive dental exam has now become more important than ever.

Think of a comprehensive dental examination as an oral equivalent to a complete physical exam by your physician. Disease can be detected early and appropriate treatment begun.
